Flying DAF

The Flying DAF, a new high-performance squash academy providing expert tuition, is serving up its first kids’ summer camp at Mina A’Salam, Jumeirah.

Running from 1– 21st August, the camp will welcome three weekly intakes, providing youngsters with the chance to learn more about the game, enjoy some on-court summer fun, or improve their skills under the guidance of professional coaches. Open to all levels, the first The Flying Daf summer camp underlines the academy’s mission to grow squash in Dubai from the grassroots and sustain the emirate’s sporting sector.

With limited spaces available, intermediate and above level teens under the age of 18 can attend the first five-day enrollment from 11am – 2pm on Sunday, 1 August, to Saturday, 7 August, with Tuesday and Friday off days.

The five-day camp costs AED 800 and participants will be treated to a special appearance from professional squash player Aditya Jagtap, the current world #64, from India.

Commencing 8th August, the second week is aimed at beginners aged 9 – 12 years, while the final week is designed for newcomers aged 5 – 8 years. Both camps are priced at AED 800 with attendees provided with energizing snacks, The Flying DAF branded t-shirts and 15% discount on The Flying DAF’s customised rackets and kit.

In addition to the summer initiative, players aged 18 and above are encouraged to test their game every Friday from 10am – 12pm and Tuesdays from 7:30pm – 9:30pm until 1st September, with an AED 100 pay-to-play fee.
