“The Mountain” aims to break world record with World’s Ultimate Strongman

World’s Ultimate Strongman

In these unprecedented times, Dubai’s own World’s Ultimate Strongman has created the only current live sport event series, WUS Feats of Strength and World Records.

The season will commence spectacularly on Saturday, the 2nd of May 2020 with a World Record attempt by the mighty Hafthor Bjornsson, 3 x Arnold Strongman Classic, 2018 World’s Ultimate Strongman and 2019 World’s Strongest Man winner, more commonly known as “The Mountain” from Game of thrones, who will aim to break the Deadlift world record of 500KG.

On Saturday the 2nd of May, Thor Bjornsson will attempt to break the legendary Eddie Hall’s World Record of the 500KG deadlift, by lifting 501KG. The attempt will be broadcasted live on ESPN or streaming free on Coresports.World and Roguefitness.com for the world to watch.

Always one to break the mold, World’s Ultimate Strongman wanted to create something unique and somewhat COVID-19 proof during such a difficult time, resulting in what has become the only live sport event series since the pandemic began that follows and adheres to the social distancing rules. The first event will be taking place at Thor’s Power Gym, Reykjavik, Iceland.

A special thanks goes to all the sponsors, headline sponsor being Rogue and category sponsors being  REIGN Total Body Fuel, SBD, Revive MD, Transparent Labs, Freeze Sleeve, Kinda Fit Kinda Fat apparel.
