The popular Flow Talks Series by Dubai’s favourite homegrown healthy-eating hub is set to bring on board a range of experts for a mini-series of digital discussions to create awareness around the importance of a fit and healthy lifestyle to coincide with this year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge, the month-long city-wide fitness drive that aims to transform the emirate into the world’s most active city.
Kicking off on Sunday November 8, the latest edition will be presented as a four-week series of one-on-one conversations with esteemed experts in the health and wellbeing space, covering topics such as physical and mental health, wellness and nutrition, in a modified format which complies with COVID restrictions.
The new format will see Flow brand manager Elien De Cock advised and coached one on one by the experts on specific topics in a livestream on the @FlowDubai Instagram page. Best Body Co. co-founders Olivia McCubbin and Adam McCubbin will get things started with a session on the importance of staying physically active on Sunday November 8, while psychologist Dr Sarah Rasmi, transformation expert Yasir Khan, and nutrition coach Debbie Rogers will provide advice on physical and mental health as well as healthy eating in the following weeks. Social media followers will be in with a chance of winning free sessions with each speaker.
In line with efforts to encourage a healthier lifestyle, Flow will also launch ‘GO VEGAN WITH FLOW’, a plant-based meal plan which will provide two options; three healthy meals per day with two additional snacks over 30 days, and a 22-day working week option which will provide three meals a day and snacks for five days per week.

Olivia & Adam McCubbin, 3pm, 8 November: Elien will kickstart the series by taking on the challenge with the renowned fit couple in Dubai who know the importance of keeping physically active. Olivia brings a wealth of experience to the session as the Co-founder and Head Coach of Best Body Co. She left her successful corporate career to focus on helping others achieve a happy and balanced lifestyle through health and fitness, working as a professional coach and results-based personal trainer in Dubai. Adam is a regular writer, public speaker and contributor to leading publications such as Health and Fitness magazine, Fitness First Australia magazine and Breaking Muscle. Following a quick workout which is livestreamed, the duo will discuss their journey, importance of fitness and one lucky follower gets to win 1 week of unlimited gym classes for their #6in4Challenge program.
Dr. Sarah Rasmi, 3pm, 15 November: Licensed psychologist and founder of Thrive Wellbeing Centre, Dr Sarah is an inspiring advocate for mental health across a number of significant topics, ranging from pre-natal depression to teenage social media trauma amongst others.
She recently successfully launched the UAE’s first mental health unit for mothers and currently provides numerous free resources for all ages during the Covid-19 pandemic. Dr Sarah will be discussing the benefits of maintaining good mental health and its importance on physical fitness. Yasir Khan, 3pm, 22 November: A transformation expert, celebrity trainer and fitness model who will be bringing over 17 years of experience in the fitness industry to his session. Yasir has developed a deep passion for aiding people in transforming not only their physical fitness but also their mindsets too.
Elien will join Yasir for a quick work out and take on the challenge and will give one lucky follower the opportunity to win a free session with the celebrity trainer too. Following the session, Yasir will sit down with Elien and focus his conversation on his personal journey, impressive client transformations, the importance of fitness, discipline and how to ensure safety whilst keeping active.
Debbie Rogers, 3pm, 29 November: A certified nutrition coach, Debbie will highlight the importance of healthy eating and a balanced diet to improve energy levels, weight loss and sleep. During her session related to nutrition and the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Debbie will discuss the importance of eating correctly while increasing activity and improving fitness levels.
