The Club welcomed over 130 showjumpers who competed in 11 classes with jumps from 110 up to 140 cm. The competition is an opportunity for riders to demonstrate their skills in sync with their prized horses and is also evidence of the effort put into developing showjumping as a competitive sport in the region.

Sheikha Latifa Bint Ahmed Al Maktoum competed in Classes 1 and 8 with jumps from 135 and 140 respectively. When asked about her performance and the development of the sport in the region she said, ” I’m happy with my performance and of those who participated. Showjumping has improved drastically in UAE with a lot of international participants coming into the country for the international season. It is important that we see good riders as it pushes us to improve our game.”
