After a successful launch of City Football Schools (CFS) Dubai – giving young aspiring players the chance to develop their football skills under the expert guidance of professional coaches from the Premier League champions – CFS is expanding their Dubai programme with a second location at Hartland International School, Nad al Sheba.
The CFS coaching team, who all trained and worked previously at the Etihad Campus in Manchester, will deliver football sessions to Dubai’s aspiring footballers at the sporting facilities of the newly-opened Hartland International School and continue to deliver sessions at Brighton College Dubai.
The Dubai expansion joins the Abu Dhabi programme – now in its eighth season – which operates across a variety of venues including Emirates Palace, Zayed Sports City, New York University Abu Dhabi and The Officers Club Abu Dhabi.
Head of Football Operations MENA, Simon Hewitt, said: “With the end of year school just around the corner, the latest City Football Schools Dubai coaching sessions are the perfect opportunity for youngsters to improve their footballing skills with CFS’s team of coaches.
“The sessions in Dubai have been met with huge enthusiasm and commitment from youngsters, with girls and boys taking part in a fun training programme that has been carefully designed to boost their skills, technique and fitness.
“It’s all about enjoying football and the CFS coaching team wants to encourage and develop players of all ages and abilities.
“There is so much passion for the game in Dubai. The latest coaching sessions are part of Manchester City’s commitment to supporting the development of young talents in the UAE.”
The CFS Dubai free introduction sessions are a great opportunity for young players and their families to engage with the CFS coaching team and to learn about the wide-range of activities planned for Term 2, which will begin on 6th January 2019.
These include, a brand new squad program, where players will compete in local Dubai leagues, trips to the Etihad Stadium to watch a live EPL game, holiday camps plus much more.
The CFS Dubai program is open to boys and girls aged 3 to 16, with sessions held at Brighton College, Dubai each night of the week and on Wednesdays at Hartland International School between 4.30 and 8.30pm.

By signing up to the City Football Schools, youngsters have the chance to WIN trip to Manchester. Each child will be entered in to a prize draw to win a trip to Manchester, which includes flights, accommodation and a match ticket to watch the Premier League champions in action at the Etihad Stadium!
Term 1 is currently under way at Brighton College and across Abu Dhabi venues and young players can still sign up.
Established in Abu Dhabi in 2011, the programme now has more than 1,000 children learning the City way each week, all under the guidance and supervision of 15 fully qualified City Football coaches.
